Time to Get the Summer Clothes Out!

Post

March 10, 2013

FITCoupleJust this past week I think most of us probably had to wear a light jacket, sweatshirt, or some type of warm clothing.  Today was a gloomy day of cool weather.  In Houston and standing in line at a Starbucks one lady I spoke with (wearing a Parka) was complaining of the cold and how horrible it was outside.  Well, if you know me… then you know I rolled my eyes and just had to say something.

“What!?  It’s perfect outside!  Soon enough with the heat index, and humidity off the chart and unbearable, you will be wishing you had the temperatures we have had the last several weeks!”  and that’s my opinion. She smiled and her expression said “well how right you are sir” or maybe it was “get away from me and mind your own business”… either way my point was made.  In a few months the sun will be HOT and the air-conditioned environments will be mandatory. It is time to start thinking about how you are going to feel in your summer clothes.

As for the calendar; March is 31 days – April 30 – May 31.  If you were involved in a SKI FIT Conditioning program your well on your way to ‘Summer Fun Fitness.’ If you are still dragging your feet with the New Years resolution that many people make … get a grip.  It usually takes longer to shed the winter calories than many people plan for, and even then, less weight doesn’t necessarily mean toned ready for the spaghetti strap dress or for you guys, the tank top.  If your arms jiggle … you need to do some weight lifting.  If your legs are just not svelte enough … weight training is the answer.  And F.I.T. has a safe effective plan that is individualized for you to get ready for the Summer wardrobe you already own.  Don’t invest money on new clothes … rather invest time on yourself! Let us help you enjoy the perfectly good clothes you should be sporting!  Call today and let me develop your personal Summer Fun Fitness plan.

In good health,

Bob
