It's Time for the FIT Games! - FIT Human Performance
January 13, 2013
By now you have heard about the F.I.T. Human Performance 1st Annual F.I.T. games, right?! If you did not receive your invitation in the mail, then let’s blame the mailman 😉 Consider this that invitation to the Friday night 2013 F.I.T. Games – 5pm to 9pm, and bring a friend if you wish.
The fun and games will begin at 5pm with events like “The Amazing Race”, “FIT Factor”, and “Are You Stronger than a 5th Grader?” In the “The Amazing Race”, a mini-sprint cardio challenge on three popular stationary machines; Concept II rowing, Versa Climber, and Treadmill, where each leg of the race has a Gold Medal, Silver Medal, and Bronze Medal finisher. The “FIT FACTOR” is a balance challenge using exercise balls and your core strength, with medal finishers in two separate categories. I am sure most of you can recall the Presidential Fitness Award from grade school, here is your chance again! “Are You Stronger Than a 5th Grader”, with the same moves we did at age 11, test your ability according to current physical fitness standards and see if you are in the 85th percentile, 50th percentile, or maybe not as strong as a 5th grader!
We also have door prizes sponsored by Randalls, Busy Body, Whole Life Central and My FIT Foods. Winners will be announced (and must be present) at 8pm … no exercise necessary! Healthy, tasty treats from My FIT Foods of the Woodlands will be served and essential oils and healthy cooking information will be available from Venus Aviv of Whole Life Central. Don’t miss a great opportunity to receive a variety of FREE stuff, hang out with old and new FIT friends, and burn a few calories testing your FITness. Questions? Go ahead, call me!
In good health,
BOB
