In the fast paced world we live in, there is an endless supply of information. When it comes to health and fitness I find Plato said it best, “Lack of activity destroys the good condition of every human being, while movement and methodical physical exercise save it and preserve it.” We only have one body, what we do with it dictates our longevity and quality of life. Simply put, our bodies have a shelf life and we need to consistently apply ourselves to being active. Activity therefore helps us be less perishable. Yes, human bodies do expire and with the amount of information we have put in front of us every day it can be very confusing to know how best to take that ‘special care’ of ourselves.
F.I.T. Human Performance has a fresh and realistic way of developing safe, effective, and achievable goals designed specifically for you. And most importantly, helping you to reach those goals. FIT is not the “big-box” fitness organization with the one size fits all programming. We offer individualized no-nonsense FUNCTIONAL fitness with every workout. Training sessions are dictated by the National Academy of Sports Medicine protocols and follow the optimum performance training (OPT) model. This ‘matter of fact’ manner of fitness is proven with frequent FIT CHECKS to assess and measure improvement and insure you are moving in the direction of attaining your goals.
F.unctional I.ndividualized T.raining is excited about you and your goals. We are in fact going to teach you how to create a lifestyle of fitness. We are dedicated to helping our clients develop great posture, ideal balance, and becoming physically correct. Our job is to test you for musculoskeletal imbalances and to help return your body to optimum performance. This is not “I think so” styled training that often occurs, rather, FIT demonstrates change and progress with frequent assessments and tracking. FIT is a corrective exercise studio where your workouts have a purpose.
