Aging (can be) a terrible horrible crummy no good deal! - FIT Human Performance

In my life one thing is absolutely obvious … I’ve grown older. There are a lot of telltale signs; hairline, height, wrinkles, grey hair, and the list continues. Yup, we are ALL getting older and most likely finding flaws in ourselves. Energy, focus, vision, body weight, senses and intentions have likely decreased. Yes, ageing is a bummer … IF, you let it be. Well, F.I.T. has a solution and a cure for what ales most of us!
Arnold Schwarzenegger, as Master of Ceremonies during his ‘Arnold Classic’ Bodybuilding Competition quotes, “If you don’t find the time, if you don’t do the work, you don’t get the results.” That is the point of the most natural of Anti-Aging formulas. Perhaps another way and more direct way of saying that is to get busy getting stronger or know that you are getting weaker.
There is no cure or pill or potion or lotion to stop the aging process, but exercise is a darn good way to slow things down. As an example, yesterday I received a testimonial from my friend Dave. He has just returned from a hiking and camping trip in the great outdoors. Dave smiled telling me about his journey and was very clear in thanking me for helping him with the movement patterns I knew he would need for the health and fitness goal he had set with me months ago. Proudly he told of strength to carry his pack, endurance to hike the elevation, and mobility to step high up and over large lying logs. Yes, we developed core strength, prime mover strength, joint flexibility, and high repetitive endurance. HE DID IT!! Nobody is immune from aging. I’ve told a few of you that last weekend it was time to weed out clothes from our closets. Humbling experience! I’ve been holding on to jeans I was wearing years ago and needless to say … they had shrunk or I un-shrunk. Even I have experienced aging; slow metabolism, less activity, more celebrations, and a bunch of other excuses that define how much weight I have gained. No excuse, I simply did not make the time, did not do the work, thus have not had the results.
