What is Your Plan for Next Year? - FIT Human Performance
December 27, 2015 –
If you ask me a New Years resolution is a just another anxiety I will either endure or fail. We all do it … make a promise to ourselves to drink less, eat less, or exercise more so that we can get healthy at last. Willpower is supposed to be there for us to help us, walk away from the sweet smell of piping hot pepperoni pizza, or to turn left instead of into the drive through for a Starbucks Venti Caramel Macchiato, or from the ever too easy excuse of “I’m just too busy to exercise”. I know it … I live it. So then, here’s the question, when will it become important enough to save your own life?
My guess is that most of you reading this probably think that I am talking to you. The reason for that is that the vast majority of us think we are too busy, too lazy, or we fear the start of an exercise lifestyle. These hurdles affect us all so don’t think its just you. What I can tell you is that you are older now than you were yesterday and the longer you wait to make healthy changes in your life the harder it gets. So what will you do?
In good health,
Bob
